Girls on the Run 5k

Congratulations to the Girls on the Run for completing a 5k (3.11 miles) at the Navy Yard this past Sunday! AND to our Cheer team for cheering them on!

The girls showed Morton’s core value of RESILIENCE by powering through the rain to complete the race. Our running and cheer team have practiced every Tuesday and Wednesday since mid-September and their hard work certainly paid off.

Everyone did a fabulous job! Shout out to Coach Gryga, Coach Sapp, Coach Shaw, and Coach Shané for supporting and training our girls!
